Before a Root Canal
The root canal procedure will be performed using local anesthesia. There are usually no restrictions after the procedure concerning driving or returning to work. Our doctors will give you instruction along with their emergency contact number should any issues arise.
Please do not take any pain relief medication during the six hours prior to the appointment, if possible. Pain relief medications can mask the symptoms and may hinder an accurate diagnosis. Ibuprofen or Tylenol can be provided by the staff, post treatment, to help alleviate discomfort from treatment.
