Jarom j. Ray, dds

Dr. Jarom Ray received a DDS degree with Cum Laude distinction from Creighton University in 2003. His academic and clinical achievements were recognized with multiple awards culminating in his election into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He completed an intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the USAF Academy in 2004 and then practiced general dentistry for two years. In 2008 he completed a two-year Endodontics Residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Ray achieved board-certification by the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) in 2011 and recertification in 2021.

Dr. Ray’s Air Force service brought his family to Omaha, Charleston, San Antonio, England, and three times to the Air Force Academy. As the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School Endodontics Residency Program Director, he and his team pioneered a revolutionary surgical technique that expanded the specialty’s capability to save teeth. The technique was recognized with the prestigious Journal of Endodontics Case Report and Clinical Technique of the Year award for 2018.

Dr. Ray’s multiple publications are featured on the covers of the Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal and Endodontic Practice and in General Dentistry. He is a featured speaker at the largest endodontic meetings in the world including five consecutive invitations from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Annual Session, the AAE Insight Track and the meeting of the British Endodontic Society. He has lectured at multiple endodontics residency programs throughout the United States and Canada.

Dr. Ray serves on the Journal of Endodontics Scientific Advisory Board and has an appointment as Professor, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association, American Dental Educators Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Colorado Springs Dental Society.

He and his wife Rochelle have been married for 26 years and are the proud parents of Hampton, Hannah, and Hayden.
